The fraternity of fly fishers
And Flyanglers like you!
How are you doing? I haven't heard from you in a while. Dana's been using this comp. constantly for school and I haven't been able to get online for a while. Did you tell me you had a boat for sale? I'm thinking about trying to get an inflatable pontoon instead of a tube and I wasn't sure what kind of boat you had. I need something that I can break down and fit in the trunk along with suitcases and stuff. If you got one give me a shout and we'll see what we can do.
Any way you guys can come down Thursday evening? I could get a Pizza and Warren could come over for some fly tying. I have a spare bedroom with 2 twin beds so no problem with getting a good nights sleep! Head to the Elk in the AM. after a good breakfast and a good nights rest!
The 25th will be fine. I was up in Michigan for a couple of weeks for the Fish-In and visiting friends. Still unpacking!?
Glad to hear from you and know your knee is coming along well. My hand is healing pretty good and today I went without a bandage on it. It is healing, but, not as fast as I wanted or expected, but, it is healing and doing fine. I drove to the Elk river today to see what the water looked like and was surprised to find it very clear and wadable! So, I put the waders on and fished from noon to 4pm and then a thunderstorm and lots of rain chased me off the water. I caught and released 30 trout! Nothing of any great size, but, sure a lot of fun! Please come fish with me sometime.
I'm doing just fine and both Warren and I live on the high ground so we're ok!
Glad to hear the knee is doing well. As soon as you catch a break and the water goes down you come on down for some more fishing!
P.S. How is the fly tying going?
Warren and I will be at the Long Branch Campground just off SR 96 on the Caney Fork below Center Hill Dam Thursday afternoon through Sunday morning. Come down and visit us.
Thanks for checking in on me. I just now got home and it is 6pm. They had to cut a pretty big chunk out of the top of my hand. I have internal sitches that are suppose to disolve on their own and another row of sitches on the outside. I have sitches starting at the top of my first finger knuckle and they stop just past where my thumb joins my hand. Needless to say, when the numbness wears off, I feel I will be in a lot of pain. HOPEFULLY, the pain pills he gave me will work. Typing with one hand is a slow process! Thanks for checking...I am going to hit the recliner. Warren
Jason, you're welcome. Hey, did you see Jack's post about his fishing trip to a secret location? You should ask him to take you there. LOL Best regards, Jim
Happy birthday Bud. Many happy returns. Hope you get the day off and a fish. Jimsnarocks
