  1. Jason,

Thanks for the Birthday wishes. It has been a pretty busy day with taking care of my Mom and my wife having surgery this morning, but, all is well now...

Thank you and get down here and go fishing soon....
  2. Jason,

Good to hear from you and know all is well. Yes, Jack and I made it to Townsend for the Trout Fest and had a great time. Got to meet and talk to Lefty Kreh and Bob Clouser and they were both very "down to earth" type of people and I am glad I got to meet and talk to them. The Townsend area is beautiful and I want to make another trip there and take the wife so she can see the sites there while I fish some more in the Little River. Great river and I did manage to catch a few fish while we were there. We did not have a whole lot of fishing time since it rained both days plus touring the Trout Fest. I had a couple rainbow that were 17-18" and probably weighed 2 1/2 pounds each. Dock's Motel, where we stayed, was very clean and right on the Little River. You could walk out of the motel room and step into the river to fish. I guess I will try and make the trip to Michigan with Jack to the FAOL Fish-in at the end of this month.

  3. Jason,

Glad to hear from you and know your knee is coming along well. My hand is healing pretty good and today I went without a bandage on it. It is healing, but, not as fast as I wanted or expected, but, it is healing and doing fine. I drove to the Elk river today to see what the water looked like and was surprised to find it very clear and wadable! So, I put the waders on and fished from noon to 4pm and then a thunderstorm and lots of rain chased me off the water. I caught and released 30 trout! Nothing of any great size, but, sure a lot of fun! Please come fish with me sometime.

  4. Jason,
Thanks for checking in on me. I just now got home and it is 6pm. They had to cut a pretty big chunk out of the top of my hand. I have internal sitches that are suppose to disolve on their own and another row of sitches on the outside. I have sitches starting at the top of my first finger knuckle and they stop just past where my thumb joins my hand. Needless to say, when the numbness wears off, I feel I will be in a lot of pain. HOPEFULLY, the pain pills he gave me will work. Typing with one hand is a slow process! Thanks for checking...I am going to hit the recliner. Warren
