I think you have me confused with someone else. I'm up in Whitefish; not sure what the situation is down in the Lochsa. Another nasty fire season, with more to come, I'm sure.

Scott, Have the fires this year reached down into the Lochsa yet. The local fires have reached Cougar Mt. up
behind Hope, ID. We just got out in time again this year and had an escort through part of MT. Hope you made out OK with this years fires. The area up Lightning Creek, behind Clark Fork, on top of the hill has
had much traffic with fire fighters and forest service trucks. There are so many planes flying around dropping fire retardant it's a small wonder that some don't collide. The temp. here in the south land is in the 90s to 100s and all the Sanbernardino MT's. are all on fire again. Getting in some surf fishing so not all is bad. Won't make the Lochsa this year, maybe next year. Take care and all the best. Crunchy
