  2. If you are still looking for a place to stay, I recommend Fun Valley--six miles from S. Fork. 1.5 mile of private water on the S. fork of the rio grande. Have stayed here for 11 seasons. Lots of kids so you can turn yours loose and not worry because there is security at the gate and you can't come in without being registered. Minature golf, horses, rec hall with pool tables, kids can rent tubes to float the river, reasonably priced food cafeteria style, RV spaces, tent camping,motel and cabins. I first stayed here with my daughter who was 9 at the time. We planned on camping one night and stayed for a month.
