Well school has started again and I have still been able to fish. On saturday and sunday I started a 1 fish a day streak that I have not been able to break yet. I caught one fish on saturday and one fish on sunday. Just enough to keep the skunk off and missing a few nibbles here and there. Interesting fishing.

Today I was able to get out on the water right after school was over and got to fish for a few hours until it got dark. And guess what the results were? One fish landed! I kept the stupid one fish streak going. I got another strike or two but was asleep at the fly. Pun intended.

Also I was casting into some calmer water and my indicator slowly disappeared. I set the hook and had on for a few seconds what I think was a catfish. The way he started to move like a bus sorta gave it away. But the #14 black copper john was not set good enough in this mystery creatures jaw and the fish got off. Oh well! It was cool to hook whatever it was.

The condtitions today were kinda ridiculous. I had my 3wts with me and the wind was blowing about 25mph. It was cold on top of that. When I got done a couple of my fingers were numb. Oh well I was still able to cast well enough to get some distance. and land a fish.
