Today during my windy fishing trip I was casting perpendicular to the wind with a #14 chartruese copper john, Only the copper john had a bead head that was a size or two large.
Anwyays I was casting and the wind gusted, Blowing my loop into yours truly and causing the tippet to wrap half way around my head and the heavy obese beaded copper john to slap me in the face right below my sunglasses. It left a nice red welt I imagine, I will never know though because I just muttered a few 4 letter words to myself and kept on fishing.
