Harvey - Our Fishing Truck
and part of the family

All the wood and metal work is now Complete.

The tailgate is green washed hardwood with all copper inlays some fasioned after artwork that my neighbor did as young boy
of the fish and the fisherman in the right and left corners of the gate.
His sketches were traced and cutout of 16ga copper then inlayed within the gate as well as in bed crown.

I hammered copper letters of
the international logo name the same font and size as on the stock metal tailgate.

My good artist neighbor Don is 82years young and a proud WW2 navy veteran. He did the sketches for the inlays when he was a young boy of eight!

The bed crown is redwood with brass hardware keeping it all together.

We milled the wood from an old redwood water tank that was decommissioned in 2001.
