A Free Copy of 'Fisher.'
By James Castwell

And why not. This is an unusual item and I am going to put it up as an addition for the 'Friends of FAOL' section. You can read the tale of Fisher here if you like.

We found that by printing it in a different type face the story took on a new character. We searched several libraries and decided on this particular font, an old English type face. Only five-hundred were printed and the original was then destroyed. This was quite a few years ago and at the time and we offered signed and numbered prints. I find I still have some of these on hand and I would like to share them with anyone interested. They are exactly eleven by fourteen inches so a regular frame will fit them just fine. Here is a picture that is representative of the art work.

Fisher

This piece hangs in many places today and I am honored it does. I have lost count of the countries by this time but there are quite a few. I hope one will find its way to you. I know that they have been framed and used in many fly fishing benefit auctions around the country with success as well.

Just go to the Friends of FAOL section and remember to mention that you would like a print as part of your membership too. ~ James Castwell

Till next week, remember . . .
